Tidal has launched version 2.0 of its mobile app, featuring a streamlined design and a new layout. The streaming service has refreshed the homepage, which now shows more music from different genres as you scroll, instead of just the new and top tracks and albums as it did before.
Navigation has moved from the hamburger menu on the left side to a bottom row of icons, much like Spotify and Apple Music. The Explore tab has been overhauled, with a new genre + moods section up top, and a suggested artist and album area at the bottom.
The Now Playing screen has also received some changes: the play queue and song suggestions are now available through a left or right swipe, respectively, instead of buried in the menus.
